Kushinda's Beatrice Just took Best in Field at the RRCUS Nationa Specialty 2009
And we are excited....
This is Beatrice...Her dam is the most wonderful Kushinda's "Utterly" soon to be ROM (Register of Merit) and her sire is my Kimani-Kushinda Cutting Edge "Cheetah" (soon to be CH)
She is a great little dog, and will be shown in the conformation ring this year as she seeks her Dual Championship. Like most ridgebacks, she has a story to tell. And as always with those that have a story their destination is alway reached as hers was on the lure coursing field today at Lansing MI. Her BIF run was thrilling, she stayed true on the bag, following it up the hill, around and passing everyone one in her sights three times...A spectacular run for this little girl, and we are so pleased that the judges saw and scored her accordingly..Thanks to all..The Kushinda Crew....Beatrice our BIF National RRCUS Specialty 2009 Winner..More pic to follow.

The girls arrived in Lansing MI early this morning after doing and "all nighter drive" in time for roll call.Yea!!!
From first reports all the Kushinda RR have had a great pre-liminary run. More later..

I am now a Tracker!! Here are the tracks I am following..
This is a MUDDY PAW TRACK. This has been the picture for the last two days as the rain continues...Hundreds and hundreds of these muddy paw tracks. I am chasing them with the Lieberman mop and then the Dyson Sweeper...It has been a challenge these last few days with the rain and the mud...Will it ever end? No, as long as you have dogs, you will be a TRACKER OF MUDDY PAWS....lol :) k

Lure Coursing and Judging this weekend..
Another great weekend for the advancement or our Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Kammi is judging a match over Pittsburg PA way, not RR some other hound breed...they will be coming back to central PA tonight and then it is off to the Oatlands Plantation in VA for lure coursing tomorrow. Several will be competiting for their JC titles...How exciting is that...This would be the Cheewedells as we so fondly call them...I will not be wearing a mask as I think the wind will blow all the H1N1 virus away.
I am pursuing some questions I have been asked on getting your bitch spayed and problems with the Dr. will try ot follow up with you later on this..I can tell you that it is advisable to write down on the calendar when you bitch comes into season. This information is valuable when wanting to spay and when running the Thyroid test...
