I am ever so happy to get Ch Kushinda Ark Action SC DM results today. She is NN or clear for DM. She is the dam to the 2010 Show Pups that are pictured through the blog site..This means that none of her pups will every themselves have the disease...Yahoo.
Presents, Falcon, Burner, Dan Boy, Dart, Trixie, Xena, CiCi, & Hunter, who all have promising show careers. Was this worth $65.00? You bet! K

2009 Rescue Quilt Project

Tickets for the 2009 quilt are now available and can be obtained by sending an e-mail to quilt@ridgebackrescue.org YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT TO WIN! Tickets are $3 each, 4 for $10, 8 for $20 or you can fill out one special $50 ticket and get 25 chances to win (we fill out the other 24 for you). Tickets and payment must be received at our Washington DC PO Box on or before May 16 to be eligible for the draw. For those who will be attending the specialty, tickets will also be on sale at the Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue Inc., booth.

An exercised dog may rest more calmly at home and be less nervous when left alone. Exercise can improve dogs bone and joint health, heart, and lung function. Exercise makes show dogs look better and feel better to a judge's exploring hands. Because a happy dog looks more gorgeous.

DM Test Results for Rhodesian Ridgeback

March 4 2009 Hats off to the RR Club for the unprecedented number of dogs tested for DM. We are well on our way to eliminating this disease from our breed in dogs bred by club members. 609 dogs tested and the numbers continue to grow as new results are posted weekly by OFA. These results give the breeder the information they need when considering a breeding. Dogs at risk should NOT be bred and eliminated from a breeding program.
